Do I need an additional trailer license for the Carettas?
As long as the total weight of the towing vehicle and trailer does not exceed 3.5 t, you do not need an additional trailer license.
What is the maximum speed allowed for the Caretta?
All our vehicles can be equipped with AL-KO shock absorbers, AL-KO brakes, AL-KO anti-rolling ball coupling and AL-KO axles. This means that nothing stands in the way of 100km/h approval.
What is the load capacity of the Caretta roof rack?
250kg static (e.g. 2 persons and roof tent), 100kg dynamic (e.g. 2 bicycles)
What is the difference between the Mini and the 1500?
The dimensions: the Mini is narrower and shorter. In addition, the Mini already includes many extras in the standard equipment, such as the fresh water system with tank, sink and faucet.

What is the difference between the 1500 and the Offroad?
The Offroad is designed for off-road driving: it already has in standard, among other things, all-terrain tires and an underbody storage compartment, it is higher, has a continuous framing of bumpers and is also full on the road in terms of weight. The Offroad has a chassis made of 8mm fully galvanized steel, a thicker underbody than the 1500, which is fully sealed and a 1000kg braked axle, which is sprung.
What materials is the Caretta made of?
The chassis of our Carettas is made as galvanized steel. The outer shell is made of GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic), the roof is built in wood-hard foam sandwich construction, the floor is made of sealed multiplex wood panels.
